Triumphant Jubilee
Continuing Traditions with New Vision

SEASON
Announcement
This year marks Season 38 for South Dallas Concert Choir (SDCC). SDCC continues to blaze the trail to keep the American spiritual and music by African American composers at the musical forefront of all our programming. With dynamic programming and new collaborators, this year promises to be as exciting as previous seasons.
Triumphant Jubilee: Continuing Traditions with New Visions is the theme of the season as the choir remains steadfast to its our commitment to sing traditional spirituals with greater intention. This season, as we celebrate the tenth (10th) anniversary of our Artistic Director, Alfrelynn Roberts, we combine SDCC’s traditional programming with a new initiative geared to strengthen SDCC’s commitment to younger generations and our inherent responsibility to pass down the beauty and power of this art form.
